Like it or not, the fact is that the Google Search engine is the world's most popular tool for searching the internet. Over 1 billion people use Google on a daily basis. Thus, the chances are very small that you have not used Google yourself today. Here are some statistics related to Google Search:
These statistics confirm that search engines play -- and will continue to play -- a crucial role in our daily lives. We use them for obtaining information, finding and accessing relevant websites, leisure endeavors, and personal and professional development. Given the breadth, depth, and popularity of Google Search, it has by far the biggest collection of web-based information available. This massive amount of information makes it a remarkable tool for those interested in identifying and understanding what's on the minds of its users.
Our project is designed to tap this rich source of information in new and innovative ways to understand past, current, and future trends related to our children and our families. In doing so, we hope to provide deeper insights related to the relationships that matter most to us.
